Karen Jang, Owner - President, Accounting

Karen Jang and John Jang have three daughters. They both love

to travel and work in the mission field.

Karen Bathke, Accounting/ Purchaser

Karen is a very important part of our accounting department.

Her background is 30 + years doing clerical work and over 18

years of that has been with Carpet One. Her goal is to work for a

company whose commitment to quality and service to their

customers sets them apart. It is important to her to feel like her

efforts are worthwhile and she has that with Carpet One Floor

and Home. During Karen's time off, she enjoys baking and

perfecting unique recipes. (The best homemade 10-layer cake

around!) Karen attends South River Community Church where

she finds herself surrounded by rare and amazing people who

bring out the best in her.

Diana Carr, General Manager, Retail, Commercial & Builder

Sales & Design

Diana has been in the flooring business for over 38 years. She

thinks of our clients as neighbors and family. One of her greatest

joys is to assist her clients in finding the right product for their

needs and desires. She wants to be able to run into them in the

future and find out if their flooring has met or exceeded the clients'

expectations. Diana is the General Manager of the store and is in

commercial, builder, and retail sales. Her design specialty is 

ceramic and stone. She graduated from 71st High School here in

Fayetteville. Diana's past work experience includes: Chick-fil-A,

General manager at a Home Office Putt-Putt, Assistant Manager

at Color Tile, American Carpet and Interiors, and Carpet One

Floor and Home. In Diana's limited spare time, she likes to spend

time with her grandchildren and travel.

David Brown, Manager, Warehouse; Commercial Builder Sales

David has been married to Trish for 23 years. They have two

children, David who is pursuing his Master's Degree, and Kayleigh

who is in her freshman year of high school. He enjoys participating

in and watching sports.

Jeremy Brewington, Warehouse / Receiving

As the son of a past and well-respected flooring business owner,

Jeremy was raised in the flooring business. Jeremy enjoys fishing

and spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and children.

Stephen Cook, Flooring Sales/Consultant

Steven has 18 years of experience in sales and 4 years in textiles.

He is a valued addition to our sales force.

Stephen has a wonderful wife who is a teacher and an adorable

pug named Scooter. He likes playing poker with his friends and is

a collector of Bourbon.

Sterling Ashby, Flooring Sales/Consultant

Sterling has 13 years of flooring sales experience. He is a

graduate of UNC-W and has lived in Florida and Colorado

before coming back to Fayetteville. Sterling is a US Air Force

Veteran and has worked as a weather forecaster (4 years) and

weather observer (4 years). He also worked with NASA's Space

Shuttle Program as an upper air sounding analyst for 10 years.

Sterling has 2 children in college and in his spare time he likes to

play golf, listen to music, and watch classic TV and movies.

Sarah Pittman, Outside/Builder Sales

Sarah has 13 years in the building industry. Her background

starts with 10 years of paint sales experience and 3 years of

floorcovering. Her main goals are to provide end users with

beautiful homes that people can relax and enjoy as well as

be a business partner that builders can rely on for quality

results. When she is not at work, Sarah enjoys spending time

with her family, reading, and being outdoors.
